opti 2024: Trends and exchange for the optical industry

Under the motto #weareopti, the opti trade fair opened its doors in Munich from January 12 to 14.

Trends in the optical industry

The Innovation Area with opti Trend Hub in Hall C3.551 attracted visitors with exciting products and presentations. Optics Trend Radar by opti was presented to the trade fair audience for the first time. The area was complemented by the adjoining Optics Start-up Area, which was aimed at industry newcomers.

In the opti boxes in Hall C2, truffle hunters found the Secret Stars of frame design, which were competing for the third opti Box Award The winners were chosen by the international jury on January 13th at 14.30 pm on the stage of the opti Trend Hubs in Hall C3 announced.

For the first time, four theme-related hubs took place at opti 2024. The Trend Hub in Hall C3 offered a mix of trend presentations, hands-on tech gadgets, and digital pillars where visitors could browse the latest trends. The Sustainability Hub focused on the topic of sustainability. Here, Lectures and discussions on the topics of ecology, economics and social issues offered. The opti Sustainability Award honored outstanding initiatives in the field of sustainability for the first time in 2024. In Career Hub Together with eyebizz Jobs, employers and job seekers in the industry met in an inspiring atmosphere.
