New start-up scholarship in Rhineland-Palatinate

Innovative founders can apply for the new scholarship in Rhineland-Palatinate by February 28, 2022. Funding for the acquisition of an innovative business is also possible. Start.in.RLP is a non-repayable grant to support founders in the early stages of their business start-up. It is designed to support young entrepreneurs in further developing and successfully achieving their business idea with a unique regional selling point in an innovative, creative craft sector or in relation to innovative services, business models, or production methods.

Regardless of whether the project involves products, processes, or services in the skilled trades, the innovative and forward-looking nature of the startup idea or planned business takeover is crucial. The term "innovation" is deliberately defined broadly and allows for discretion. The maximum grant amount per application is €1.000 (gross) per month for a maximum of twelve months.

Who is funded?

Applicants are welcome to start-ups or takeovers who have been founded their business for at least 12 months at the time of application, or who have not yet founded their business. Their registered office and place of residence must be in Rhineland-Palatinate.

Arrange business succession in good time

1. Step 1: The application process begins with an initial meeting with an accredited start-up partner. The Koblenz Chamber of Skilled Crafts is already accredited and will be happy to assist start-up projects or business acquisitions from the skilled crafts sector with the application process.
2. Step 1: The Koblenz Chamber of Skilled Crafts will review your business plan for plausibility and completeness. If the outcome is positive, you can apply for a start-up grant.
3. Step: The application documents are submitted via the application link.
4. Step: The application documents are presented to a nationwide expert jury, which evaluates the applications in a jury meeting and casts a vote.
5. Step: If the vote is positive, the Investment and Structural Bank RLP will take over the approval and manage the disbursements.
