Nationwide, the " Digital Now " program – a funding program of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action – offers financial support to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with up to 100 employees . Companies can receive a 50 percent subsidy for consulting and implementation measures . Funding is available for measures in the areas of digitalization strategy , IT security , digitized business processes , data literacy , and digital market development.
The " Go Digital " funding program also provides subsidies for consulting services. In addition, funding is available from the ministries of the individual federal states, either as a grant or a loan. The contact persons are usually the state development banks, through which the funding can be applied for.
