Reforestation of forests to preserve drinking water

Only a healthy, green forest can ensure a balanced water supply. However, persistently high temperatures and drought are currently putting forests under pressure. Since water is an essential source of life, Krombacher is supporting the preservation of stable forests with a large-scale reforestation program.

The Federal Ministry of Labor, the Federal Employment Agency, the German Association of Districts, and the German Association of Cities aim to pave the way for women with migration experience to obtain qualifications, training, employment subject to social insurance contributions, and self-employment that provides a secure livelihood. The Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, the Federal agency for work, the German District Association and German Association of Cities have committed themselves in a cooperation agreement to ensure that more women with migration experience than before successfully participate in (qualification-oriented) qualification measures or complete (part-time) training, make use of childcare services for their children and take up employment subject primarily to social insurance contributions or start self-employment that provides a living wage.
