Reforestation of forests to preserve drinking water

Only a healthy, green forest can ensure a balanced water supply. However, persistently high temperatures and drought are currently putting forests under pressure. Since water is an essential source of life, Krombacher is supporting the preservation of stable forests with a large-scale reforestation program.

The Businesswomen (UFH) of the Borken district were delighted to celebrate a quarter of a century of commitment, exchange of experiences and successful networking.

The Women Entrepreneurs in the Skilled Crafts in the Borken district celebrated their 25th anniversary with the awarding of certificates of honor. In Velen, chairwoman Juana Bleker welcomed the women entrepreneurs and their companions, as well as Silke Sommers, the First Deputy District Administrator of the Borken district, Dr. Daniel Schultewolter, the Managing Director of the Economic Development Agency (WFG) for the Borken district, Günther Kremer, the District Master Craftsman, and Jörg Baly, the Regional Director of IKK classic Münster, among other guests.

The founding chairwoman is master hairdresser Diana Brömmel, who is also a member of the general assembly of the Münster Chamber of Skilled Crafts. Her successors have also taken on additional honorary positions in the skilled trades: Tatjana Lanvermann is the current chairwoman of the Federal Association of Women Entrepreneurs in Skilled Crafts, and Juana Bleker is the first chairwoman of the UFH NRW. Bleker thanked all founding members and the first board: "We owe the success of the organization to their dedication and special commitment."

Certificate of honor and thanks for the anniversary

Bleker presented certificates of honor for their 25 years of membership to the women entrepreneurs Dorothea Aßmann from Rhede, Diana Brömmel from Raesfeld, Mechthild Buß from Bocholt, Anja Dust from Gronau, Maria Gehling from Gronau, Ulrike Inhestern from Bocholt, Beate Mensing from Schöppingen, Hannelore Niermann from Borken, Sabine Radke from Borken, Maria Suttrup from Stadtlohn, and Doris Venhaus from Velen. She also expressed special thanks to long-standing companions and supporters, such as the Borken District Chamber of Crafts, IKK classic Münster, the WFG for the Borken District, and the Münster Chamber of Crafts. Lanvermann, in turn, honored Bleker for ten years of service as chairwoman of the working group.

The UFH Kreis Borken sees itself as a network of committed and educationally interested women from all branches of the skilled trades in the Borken district: self-employed and co-owning wives, partners, family members, managers, and even self-employed women entrepreneurs. The association imparts knowledge through continuing education and training in seminars and specialist lectures by speakers and experts. Promoting personal development is a priority for the UFH. "We practice communication in a variety of ways," emphasizes Bleker.
