Peugeot presents the new E-3008
The lion brand has placed its new E-3008 on the new Stellantis platform – and designed an electric SUV for the whole family.

A Night ride is the order of the day. This is actually an item that car manufacturers only include on their agenda at new vehicle presentations when the lighting architecture has changed. For example, when extremely powerful headlights or cornering lights are considered absolute innovations.

During the test drives, we desperately tried to find anything particularly worthy of criticism – nothing. The new E-3008 is a visually appealing SUV. with plenty of comfort and space, whose pleasant driving comfort leaves nothing to be desired. Unless, of course, you want to show off your Formula 1 qualities on the road, but for that you need a different type of vehicle. And after around 120 kilometers in the mix of winding country roads, motorway and city 17,2 kWh as consumption value on the clock – also very neat.
The fastback SUV comes in four versions: Standard is the E-3008 with a 157 kW/213 hp electric motor and a 1.2l Hybrid with 100 kW/136 hp, a mild hybrid. Both vehicles are already available to order and will officially be available in stores from April/May. There will also be a version with 170 kW/230 hp , and a All-wheel drive with 240 kW/320 hpBoth are expected to be available for order starting in autumn and will be available in stores by 2025. The key point: While the standard version for a range of up to 500 kilometers, the version comes with 230 hp as a long-range variant with a range of up to 700 kilometers.

In fact, driving is very comfortable and pleasant. The car responds immediately to steering inputs. While it feels very bulky, it can be maneuvered comfortably even in tight urban environments. Thanks to numerous assistance systems The driver can drive relaxed, the only annoying thing is the – mandatory for new vehicles from mid-2024 – Warning when exceeding the speed limit.

The display combines a Head-up display with a digital display – all framed by beautiful ambient lighting. The functions are relatively easy to understand, even if you have to first familiarize yourself with the menu navigation and scroll through several levels.
