New electric vans from Renault

2026 will be the year of electric commercial vehicles for Renault. Three new models will be launched then.

The names are familiar. This allows the respective series tailored to different commercial requirements.

The best-known name is probably the Trafic, which is currently available as a purely battery-electric model under the name Trafic E-Tech. will be available in 2026 in the fourth generation in one-box design with a short front overhang, a long wheelbase and wheels positioned in the corners. This is intended to optimal use of space With a height of 1,90 meters, the new generation remains suitable for underground parking, but comes with a completely new look.

The other two models borrow historical information. The Goelette was produced for ten years from 1956, the Estafette came to the streets in the 60s and ran off the production line until 1980. The Goelette is designed to solve transport problems for businesses as a chassis, box and tipper, the Estafette was already on display as a concept last year at the IAA Transportation in Hanover. There are already more technical details about the model: It will be 5,27 meters long and 1,92 meters wide, while a height of 2,60 meters provides additional volume, but allows tall people to walk upright without hitting their heads.

The Three series are produced at the French plant in Sandouville. Behind it is the independent company flexis, that of the Renault Group, the Volvo Group and CMA CGM (a French shipping and logistics company) was founded.
