With the power of two engines
Peugeot has upgraded the E-3008 and E-5008: Both top models now feature two electric motors and deliver perfect driving pleasure.

If you want to have fun driving, you need curves. And there are plenty of them in the surroundings of the Peugeot -Factory in Mulhouse, France. The Alsace and the Black Forest offer not only the postcard idyll, but also roads where chassis can be tested extremely wellAnd it's worth it for both New additions to the E-3008 and E-5008 families: Dual Motor is located at the rear of both SUVs because they both have a second electric motor. The front-wheel drive has now been replaced by a second engine on the rear axle – and that provides a lot of power.

The electric motors immediately push and have full torque upon kickdown, regardless of the driving mode. You can select this as usual, and anyone who prefers constant full power should therefore always stay in Sport mode.

Because it is currently the only model in its segment that as a seven-seater The following data refers exclusively to the new dual motor versions; of course, both models are also available in other configurations. E-3008 is available in three fully electric and two hybrid versions, the E-5008 also in three fully electric, but only one hybrid version.
In the E-3008 and the E-5008, the electric motor on the front axle delivers 157 kW at 345 Newton meters (Nm), and at the rear 83 kW with 166 Nm, which is System output of 239 kW Both, of course, also have AWD as a fourth driving mode, which distributes power to all four wheels and works up to 135 km/h.

Then it needs around 30 minutes to bring the fill level from 20 to 80 percent. A fully charged battery can take the driver of the E-3008 up to 487 kilometers, while the E-5008 can travel up to 465 kilometers. The ranges are based on the different sizes.
The twin engines have not changed anything in terms of comfort and the extensive range of electronic features. As a driver, you sit comfortably and benefit from the newly designed Panorama i-Cockpit, which is exclusive to Peugeot. The small steering wheel, which makes these models easy to handle, might take some getting used to.

Both models fall into the C-segment in terms of technical dimensions, with the E-3008 being one of the most compact at 4,542 meters. The E-5008 is 25 centimeters longer and, at 2,90 meters, has an eleven-centimeter longer wheelbase. This allows for seven seats and offers significantly more Loading volume (1.480 l or 1.815 l)Prices for the dual-engine versions are not yet available, but Peugeot is offering a Warranty of eight years or 160.000 kilometers.
