Many more have been announced – and there are actually still a few electric models in the pipeline. It can now be assumed that from every transporter, which the industry is introducing, also sooner or later an electric version The most recent example is the Kangoo city delivery van of Renault, which is also available at Mercedes Benz as Citan which both have developed together in the new generation: It comes as a pure electric car next year.

Wide range of offers

But the offer is also broad and now covers all tonnage classes from the small Industrial vehicle for the warehouse (which admittedly is more suitable for industrial customers) to Transporters with payloads well over one tonThe small models are mostly more interesting for municipal tasks, but also the Crafts can use them as service vehicles in urban areas This market overview does not include electric trucks above the 7,5-ton limit, which are rarely found in craft businesses anyway.

Some models such as the Iveco Market experts will miss it. It's still available, but currently only as a test vehicle for selected customers before it, like its predecessor, the eDaily, becomes available to the general public.

Orientation towards the basic models

The table – like all others – lists the data for the respective basic model. Fiat For example, the company offers its eDucato not only as a panel van, but also with a partially glazed version. The chassis alone, which manufacturers design for body and conversion projects according to their own taste, and the models that are already equipped with Special extensions from the manufacturer for example as refrigerated vehicle are not included in the table due to space constraints. It is therefore limited to exclusively on the vansAlso left out are converters such as I See or Orten, who convert existing vehicles to electric drive.
