Holger Schwannecke, Secretary General of the Central Association of German Skilled Crafts (ZDH), commented on the new Bureaucracy Relief Act:
"With the passage of the second Bureaucracy Relief Act, the Bundestag is streamlining the complex legal situation in key areas. To exploit the economic and innovative potential of small businesses, an environment with as little bureaucracy as possible is essential. Simplifications are now being achieved, for example, through modern communication with chambers of crafts and trades or the right for companies to choose the advance payment of social security contributions."
With the Federal Employment Act II, the Bundestag is demonstrating that it sees the relief of businesses and administration from unnecessary bureaucracy as an ongoing task, Schwannecke emphasized. The legal system must be continuously critically reviewed and protected from the introduction of new burdens. "German skilled trades continue to support the Federal Government and the Bundestag in their efforts to reduce bureaucracy and promote better regulation."
