Better training for female trainees
The Cologne Women's Crafts Association has created a brochure with apprentices. The "Handbook for Trainers – From the Perspective of (Female) Apprentices" contains tips on how to improve the working atmosphere and job satisfaction.
This article is part of the special feature on women in the trades.
How can I, as a trainer, teach effectively? How can I treat my trainees fairly? What can I improve as a trainer? These questions are the focus of the " Guide for Trainers – from the Perspective of (Female) Trainees," which the Cologne Women Craftsmen's House developed together with young women, drawing on their experiences and ideas.
The "Guide for Trainers – from the Perspective of (Female) Trainees" is available free of charge as a PDF file . A printed version of the twelve-page brochure can also be ordered free of charge by email, specifying the quantity required. The Kurt & Maria Dohle Foundation provided financial support for the creation of the guide.
