When it comes to the future of the automotive industry, the focus is on young talent. The successful "Ambition" program for young professionals at Automechanika will enter its second round in 2026.

"With this ambition, we are creating a place that meets the younger generation exactly where they are – with topics that move them and authentic formats," explains Olaf Mußhoff, Director of Automechanika Frankfurt. The focus is on dialogue between young professionals and the industry.
Strong partners for recruiting young talent
For the first time in 2026, numerous associations will combine their activities at the Ambition, including the Central Association of the German Motor Vehicle Industry (ZDK), the Central Association of the Automotive Trade (ZVK)), of the Central Association for Bodywork and Vehicle Technology (ZKF), the German Association of Vehicle Painters (BFL), the Federal Association of Independent Filling Stations (bft) as well as those Joblinge InitiativeTogether they want to inspire young people to pursue careers in the automotive trade at an early age and show them concrete career prospects.
