A festive award ceremony in Bielefeld: This year's German Roof Award went to a total of 24 companies from the roofing, carpentry, and plumbing industries across Germany. Around 700 representatives from trade, industry, and commerce celebrated with the winners.
The German Roofing Award, Dachkrone, was presented for the fourth time this year. The award ceremony took place on May 16, 2025, at the Lokschuppen in Bielefeld . In a total of six categories – from the most sustainable concept to a special prize – 24 companies* of all sizes from the nationwide roofing, carpentry, and sheet metal work industry won the award.
"With the German Roofing Award, we not only want to showcase the achievements of the companies , but also create a new sense of self-confidence for the industry – especially among young people, whom we urgently need as the next generation of skilled tradespeople . Those who impress with creative ideas, sustainability, and digital know-how deserve a platform," commented Urs Nies , Managing Director of the German Roofing Award. "Thanks to the tremendous commitment of our team and the strong support from the industry, the event was once again a resounding success."

One of the highlights of the evening was the presentation of the special prize to the three companies DeinDach by Hemmersbach GmbH from Cologne, ZEP-Team GmbH from Bielefeld, and Dach- und Holzbauwerke Dämgen GmbH from Mainz. Their project , " Trainee Exchange in the Trades, " impressed the jury – during the award ceremony, 50 trainees gathered from the stage and were celebrated by the approximately 700 guests from the trades, industry, and commerce.

The event was supported by a interactive course through the event hall and Party until late in the evening "It was a great event.
