The Musso now runs purely on electricity
With a range of 400 kilometers and a payload of up to 900 kg, the figures for KGM's all-electric Musso EV pickup truck are impressive.

Musso? KGM? That's right, the Musso is a well-known name that many of the correctly assign to the Korean brand SsangyongHowever, KGM took over this traditional brand in 2022 and continues to market the models under its own name – naturally with corresponding new developments. This also includes the Pick-up Musso, which KGM now uses as fully electric version onto the German market.

Until now, there was only the eTerron9 from Maxus, which at 62.990 euros net is almost twice as expensive or at least semi-electric as the even more expensive Ford Ranger Plug-in hybrid. It generally comes as Double cab with a 1,35 meter long bed. As Front-wheel drive he can 900 kilograms payload, in his All-wheel drive version 800 kilograms payload record. Further 1,8 tons he can still take on the hook.

The power is sufficient for the sprint from zero to 100 km/h in 9,18 seconds, the all-wheel drive vehicle does it in just under eight seconds and brings a Top speed of 177 km/h (162 km/h as 2WD).

It is charged with up to 120 kW and then takes 36 minutes to raise the fill level from ten to 80 percent.
The cabin is comfortable and conveniently furnished. The driver looks out onto two 12,3-inch displays, which provide all the necessary information. There, they can also turn the mandatory assistance systems on and off, especially the mandatory warning sounds, for example, when exceeding the speed limit or the alerts for a supposedly inattentive driver. On the road with the all-wheel drive version, there's nothing to complain about in terms of handling. The steering is precise and direct, and the straight-line stability on the highway is adequate.
