Opel has given its three commercial vehicle series a new styling and technical improvements.
Opel is the German one among the four commercial vehicle brands of the Stellantis Group . Now the brand with the lightning bolt emblem has given its three model series Combo, Vivaro and Movano family genes and aligned the front of the Opel family.
However, the changes to the models aren't just visual. Technically, the vans have received new and improved driver assistance systems , the engines have been refined, and key specifications have improved, particularly for the electrified versions , even though the technical data is identical to that of the other Stellantis brands.
The smallest member of the Opel family, the Combo, makes its debut with the Opel Vizor front end , the brand's new look. Also new is the IntelliLux LED Matrix headlight system, a first for the commercial vehicle segment and exclusive to the Combo. The model comes in two lengths: the Combo at 4,40 meters and the Combo XL at 4,75 meters . The cargo volume varies accordingly, ranging from 3,8 to 4,4 cubic meters . The maximum interior load length is 3,44 meters. The Combo can carry a payload of up to 991 kilograms, while the electric version offers a maximum of 781 kilograms and can tow up to 750 kilograms.
The Combo is powered by a 1,2-liter or 1,5-liter gasoline or diesel engine . Power output ranges from 75 kW/102 hp to 96 kW/130 hp , and in addition to a six-speed manual transmission, an eight-speed automatic is also available. The electric version boasts 100 kW/136 hp and a 50 kWh battery pack, providing a range of up to 346 kilometers. This represents an increase of 60 kilometers compared to its predecessor . The Combo Electric's top speed is electronically limited to 135 km/h. Prices for the Combo start at €20.8000 (net), while the electric version starts at €31.250.

Like the Combo, the Vivaro city van also received the typical Opel Vizor family face. As a rule, the Vivaro, like its electric counterpart, remains suitable for underground parking garages at 1,90 meters . The Vivaro is also available in two lengths, 4,98 meters and 5,33 meters, which can accommodate a volume of up to 6,6 cubic meters . This cargo volume can be achieved with a Flexcargo double passenger seat ; in terms of load length, items up to four meters long can fit inside, and it can transport a payload of up to 1,4 tons. With a payload of 1,26 tons, the electric version is only slightly less capable.
The 75 kWh battery provides a range of up to 350 kilometers, while the smaller 50 kWh battery offers a range of 224 kilometers. Efficient turbodiesel engines with 1,5- or 2,0-liter displacements are used as combustion engines, delivering 88 kW/130 hp, 106 kW/145 hp, and 130 kW/177 hp, respectively. Here, too, there is a choice between a 6-speed manual transmission and an 8-speed automatic. The Vivaro starts at a net price of €30.350, and the Vivaro Electric at €39.500 net.
The new generation of the Movano features a redesigned cockpit and a touchscreen monitor of up to 10 inches . Thanks to new driver assistance systems, the Movano can now drive autonomously at Level 2. As with other models, the electric Movano's range has also increased. It now boasts 420 kilometers , and the vehicle offers a smooth ride – even when fully loaded, as demonstrated by the test drive. The Movano Electric starts at a net price of €55.800, while the combustion engine versions start at a net price of €33.800.
The electric motor produces 200 kW/272 hp, while the combustion engine versions have 88 kW/120 hp, 103 kW/140 hp, and 132 kW/180 hp with a 2,2-liter displacement, all diesel. Unlike the other model series, which have 18 assistance systems, the Movano has 21.
