Women entrepreneurs' breakfast at the Chamber of Skilled Crafts
This is the result of a workshop at the recent women entrepreneurs' breakfast: bureaucracy and regulation are among the biggest challenges.
The Saarland Chamber of Skilled Crafts' Women Entrepreneurs' Breakfast on September 23rd focused on open exchange: Under the title " Dialogue for Change, " female entrepreneurs from the skilled trades discussed current challenges, experiences, and concrete approaches for improving the business environment. The Chamber's regular breakfast event provides a forum for direct conversations, mutual inspiration, and practical solutions. Vice President Melanie Franke welcomed the participants. As managing director of a metal construction company, she understands the diverse demands of everyday business from her own experience. Master optician Sandra Moser offered a personal perspective, sharing her journey as a founder and entrepreneur and the challenges she has successfully overcome.
The event was organized by Melanie Keipert, a consultant at the Chamber of Skilled Crafts (HWK) , and Darius Nadery , head of the HWK's business consulting department . The business consulting service supports craft businesses with start-ups, succession planning, and other entrepreneurial issues. One outcome of the workshop was particularly clear: many of the points noted on the whiteboard concerned bureaucracy, regulation , and the general framework for businesses. This highlighted where female entrepreneurs in the skilled crafts sector see a particular need for action. The HWK will now incorporate these findings into its discussions with policymakers.
