Report the employment of severely disabled persons

Businesses with an average of at least 20 employees are required to fill at least five percent of their jobs with severely disabled people.

For smaller companies, applications for the employment of people must be received by the responsible employment agency by March 31, 2026 at the latest – an extension of the deadline is not possible.

IW-Elan can also be used to check whether and how much a compensatory levy is due. This levy is payable if the employment obligation is not fulfilled. The tiered amounts of the compensatory levy have been increased for the coming year.
