Applications for admission to the journeyman and final examinations in winter 2026/2027 must be received by the Chamber of Skilled Crafts and Trades (HWK) no later than August 28th.
Commercial and industrial apprentices (trainees) in the skilled trades who complete their vocational training by March 15, 2027 and whose apprenticeship contracts are registered in the apprenticeship register of the Saarland Chamber of Skilled Crafts will be admitted to the winter examinations 2026/2027 – provided they meet the other requirements.
Applications for admission to the journeyman and final examinations, along with the required documents, must be submitted by the apprentices (trainees) or trainers (with the apprentices' consent) to the Chamber of Skilled Crafts of Saarland, Hohenzollernstraße 47 - 49, Postfach 10 13 31, 66013 Saarbrücken.
The registration deadline is August 28, 2026. Registrations received after this date cannot be considered for the winter examination period 2026/2027.
The Saarland Chamber of Skilled Crafts sends all examination candidates the registration forms in good time via their training companies. Registration forms can also be requested by telephone from the Chamber of Skilled Crafts by calling 0681 5809-424 .
Applications for early or exceptional admission to journeyman's or final examinations, as well as for admission to repeat examinations, are also available from the Chamber of Skilled Crafts. These application forms must be completed in full and submitted with all required documents by August 28, 2026, at the latest. Those retaking the examination will receive a separate registration deadline.
