Master craftsman preparation in metal construction: Part I (practical skills)

The practical training offered by the Saarland Chamber of Skilled Crafts is the foundation for the master craftsman title in the metalworking trade.

In this practice-oriented advanced training program, participants acquire comprehensive craft skills for their professional future as master metalworkers. The focus is on practical knowledge of modern welding techniques, window construction, and locking systems. The qualification is supplemented by work on machining equipment, project-based practical exercises, and targeted preparation for the master craftsman project and the technical interview. The course is aimed at journeymen who wish to prepare for a management position or to become self-employed. The master craftsman title is awarded upon successful completion of all four parts.
