Decreasing feed-in tariff for PV electricity
As planned, the government feed-in tariffs for solar power from new photovoltaic systems were reduced again on February 1, 2026.
The feed-in tariff is guaranteed under the Renewable Energy Sources Act (EEG) per kilowatt hour (kWh) generated as soon as a plant is put into operation (also: "EEG remuneration" or "feed-in tariff").
The currently valid funding rates can be viewed at the Federal Network Agency.
Due to the steadily decreasing feed-in tariff, it is worthwhile to design new PV systems in such a way that as much of the generated electricity as possible is consumed directly in the company's own operations.
The "Energy, Environment and Sustainability Consulting" department of the Saarland Chamber of Skilled Crafts is available to provide advice and support for the design of your own photovoltaic system and for all questions relating to an energy-efficient, climate-friendly and therefore cost-effective long-term operation.
