The 4th Westphalian Women's Business Day will take place on Tuesday, September 8th, starting at 18 pm at the LWL Museum of Art and Culture in Münster.
Under the motto "Female Leadership – Westphalia's Next Generation in Leadership or Succession," the 4th Westphalian Women's Business Day will take place on Tuesday, September 8, starting at 18 p.m. at the LWL Museum of Art and Culture in Münster . The focus will be on the future of leadership and business succession, as well as how the next generation will assume responsibility in business and skilled trades. The event is organized by the Münsterland Women and Careers Competence Center, which is operated by the Münster Chamber of Skilled Crafts (HWK).
Following a welcome address by HWK President Jürgen Kroos, Dr. Georg Lunemann, Director of the Westphalia-Lippe Regional Association, will speak about diversity in leadership. Afterwards, Melanie Baum, Managing Director of Baum Zerspanungstechnik in Marl and Vice President of the North Westphalia Chamber of Industry and Commerce, will share her experiences as an entrepreneur in an interview. On the panel, female craft business owners Emily Böckenholt (Böckenholt Water Treatment in Münster) and Lisa Flothkötter (Flohthkötter Car Dealership in Nordwalde), among others, will discuss the opportunities and challenges facing the next generation of leaders with other guests. Refreshments will provide an opportunity for discussion and networking.
