Building the future, closing cycles: Launch of "AziBauM"

How can building materials be used for longer, components reused, and valuable raw materials kept in circulation?

Answers and concrete examples to these questions will be the focus of the launch of the "AziBauM – Alliance for Circular Construction Münsterland" project on September 15, 2026, from 15 to 18 p.m. at the Münster Chamber of Skilled Crafts' Demonstration Center for Construction and Energy (Franz-Meis-Straße 1). The program includes the presentation of the new project, expert insights from practical experience, a panel discussion on circular building materials, and the opening of the "Circle Instead of Crisis" exhibition by the Cradle to Cradle NGO.

Using everyday examples – from recyclable clothing and compostable packaging to renewable building materials – she illustrates how products and materials can be designed for closed-loop systems from the outset. AziBauM aims to strengthen the network between trades, industry, science, administration, and planning to share knowledge, showcase innovative solutions, and promote circular construction and renovation in the region. The project is funded by the European Union.
