In front of the "Altes Wasserwerk" cultural stage, the chairwoman of the TheaterKultur Kaisersesch association, Maria Oster, recently received two completely refurbished beer tent sets.
The tables and benches were renovated by participants in the "Opening Perspectives Plus" program of the Koblenz Chamber of Skilled Crafts (HwK) Service GmbH at the Mosel Academy in Cochem. This program aims to provide unemployed people and those with a migration background with stable daily routines, support them in exploring potential career paths, and thus enable their long-term integration into the labor market.
Martin Kranz from the Zappei beverage company in Cochem had previously donated the discarded beer garden furniture to the group free of charge. In the woodworking shop, it was refurbished under the guidance of instructor Alexander Hein. With this versatile donation in kind, the Koblenz Chamber of Skilled Crafts (HwK Koblenz) aims to recognize and support charitable and voluntary work in the region.
The "Opening Perspectives Plus" project is funded by the European Social Fund Plus, the Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs, Women, Family and Youth of the state of Rhineland-Palatinate, and the Cochem-Zell Job Center. The Kaisersesch theater company will soon use the tables to serve their guests at the current production, "The Legend of Robin Hood," on the open-air stage and will also use them at their numerous future events at the "Altes Wasserwerk" cabaret venue.
