Successor beach: Handover well planned
Valuable advice and effective impulses: The topic of business succession was the focus at the Succession Beach event on Koblenz's city beach.
How is a company's value determined? Where can businesses find interested successors? How can a successful business transfer be achieved? At the "Succession Beach" event hosted by the Koblenz Chamber of Skilled Crafts (HwK), the Koblenz Chamber of Industry and Commerce, and numerous regional partners, businesses and potential successors came together in Koblenz and exchanged ideas on the topic of business succession in the relaxed atmosphere of the city's beach. After a welcome address, including one by Daniel Stich, State Secretary in the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Tourism, Energy and Climate of Rhineland-Palatinate, the engaging event quickly transitioned into an open dialogue. In two rounds, experts from the network partners first provided information on different key topics and, after their insightful introductions, answered the participants' questions.
In the first session at the Koblenz Chamber of Skilled Crafts (HwK Koblenz) booth, business consultant Tobias Klein shared a wealth of information about business valuation in the skilled trades and provided examples of aspects to consider. In the second session, Sara Occari, Avvocato and lawyer in the HwK Koblenz legal department, addressed legal issues related to succession planning in the skilled trades.
