Planned trade fair for crafts triggers strong response

Exhibitor bookings for the trade fair from April 17th to 19th, 2026 in downtown Koblenz speak for the innovative concept.

Revitalizing attractive areas in the heart of Koblenz while simultaneously presenting the diverse world of skilled trades to a broad audience in a modern and appealing way – this is the innovative event concept of the Koblenz Chamber of Skilled Crafts (HwK), the City of Koblenz, and the trade fair and event specialist Koenitz. The current bookings from interested exhibitors for the skilled trades fair, taking place from April 17th to 19th in Koblenz's city center, speak to the success of the new format, as more than half of the exhibition space has already been reserved.

"The level of interest from businesses and craft enterprises is gratifyingly high," concludes organizer Marco Koenitz, offering an interim assessment. "The response to the fair's concept has been particularly positive: the idea of bringing craftsmanship directly into the city, making it visible and tangible, has been met with great enthusiasm by businesses. In addition to traditional trades, less common crafts such as woodturning, tailoring, and furriery have also confirmed their participation, further highlighting the event's diversity and appeal."

Three months before the trade fair begins, "we are now gradually expanding our advertising efforts to the regions. We are optimistic that all exhibition spaces can be booked." In the heart of Koblenz, there will be exhibition areas on Görresplatz, Münzplatz, Willi-Hörter-Platz, and Jesuitenplatz, as well as "Am Plan," near the Church of Our Lady, and on Zentralplatz. Pop-up workshops are planned to attract visitors on Löhrstraße and Marktstraße.
