The project week of the Max-von-Laue-Gymnasium at the Koblenz Chamber of Skilled Crafts, with its diverse program, was very well received.
Out of the classrooms, into World of ProfessionsUnder the motto "Do something practical", around 30 students of the Max-von-Laue-Gymnasium In Koblenz recently, exciting insights into the Diversity of crafts. For three days, the workshops of the Koblenz Chamber of Skilled Crafts (HwK) were transformed into learning environments full of professional career opportunities.
The diverse program, offering something new every day, generated great interest – the places were quickly filled. Students in grades five through thirteen participated in groups of ten. entertaining workshop per day on the program, which invited participants to a day trip to the carpentry, metalworking, hairdressing, baking or confectionery trades.
"A glimpse behind the scenes of a confectionery can be particularly valuable for high school students, as creativity and craftsmanship are uniquely combined here. Many of our master students prefer the bakery and the practical application of their creative energy to working at a desk and on a computer."
"The master craftsman's certificate opens up the best career prospects for them and represents an excellent foundation for successful self-employment," he emphasized. Course instructor and master confectioner Rainer HahnHe showed the high school students how they could conjure up filled chocolate pralines with great dexterity.
