Subcontractors sought for infrastructure projects
The US base Spangdahlem Air Base offers opportunities for regional craft businesses. They can obtain contracts there.
Spangdahlem Air Base aims to strengthen its collaboration with regional tradespeople and is therefore launching a market survey. The goal is to identify local companies that would like to work as subcontractors for existing main contractors on infrastructure projects at the air base under a construction contract (MACC). Companies in the fields of building construction, civil engineering, road construction, roofing and carpentry, electrical engineering, heating and plumbing, pipeline construction, air conditioning and ventilation, painting, fire protection, environmental remediation, and similar trades are particularly encouraged to contact.
This offers companies from the region the opportunity to establish contacts with major main contractors and to put themselves forward for possible deployments at the US base – even if it does not initially involve a concrete contract award.
Background: Contact Anyone interested can submit a short company profile (capability statement) to the Air Base.
