The German Federal Government will issue a 50-euro gold collector coin in August 2026 honoring the skilled trades. It is the fourth coin in the five-part series "German Craftsmanship".

Since 2023, a gold 50-euro collector coin honoring German craftsmanship has been issued annually. The five-part series aims to highlight craftsmanship as one of the most important and diverse sectors of the German economy, according to the Federal Ministry of Finance. This year's coin focuses on healthcare trades. The coin has been available for purchase since August 11th.

In 2026, a coin will be issued with the title "Design" to honor the craft of design. The Federal Ministry of Finance has now announced what it will look like and who designed it: The coin's design comes from the artist Bastian Prillwitz aus Berlin.
