ING launches new fixed-term deposit offer for medium-sized businesses
ING now offers fixed-term deposits for business customers. Small and medium-sized enterprises as well as freelancers can invest liquid assets here.
Business owners and self-employed individuals can now invest their available business assets in fixed-term deposits with ING Germany . The bank is thus expanding its existing range of business accounts, interest-bearing savings accounts, and financing options. The fixed-term deposit account in the business banking division offers terms of three, six, or twelve months at interest rates of 1,6, 2,0, and 2,2 percent, respectively.
“Many small and medium-sized enterprises are currently deliberately holding more liquidity – however, a large portion of it remains interest-free,” says Serge Offers , Head of Business Banking at ING Germany. “With our fixed-term deposit offer, we are creating a simple way to invest these funds in a predictable and interest-bearing manner . This creates financial flexibility for future investments and further growth.”
According to ING, the new business fixed deposit is aimed at freelancers and medium-sized companies of various legal forms, from registered merchants to limited liability companies.
The account can be opened entirely digitally, it is said. A prerequisite is that you already have a business account or a Business Extra account with ING Germany.
Customers can deposit between 5.000 and 500.000 euros per fixed-term deposit account ; the amounts are immediately available again after the term has expired.
