Flir brings app intelligence to thermography

FLIR Systems aims to fundamentally simplify thermography with a new generation of thermal imaging cameras.

The iXX series relies on app-based intelligenceAutomated workflows and direct connectivity – and are therefore explicitly not aimed solely at experts. The four models are available immediately via the Conrad Sourcing Platform .

Thermal Imaging Cameras are long since part of everyday life in the trades – for example in the Testing of electrical installations, the preventive Maintenance (Predictive Maintenance) or in the case of Analysis of heating, ventilation and air conditioning systemsWith the iXX series, we want flirt to significantly lower the barriers to entry. The core of the new devices is the ACE platform (Android Camera EcosystemIt essentially turns the cameras into smart, cloud-enabled devices that can be operated similarly to a smartphone.

Apps guide users step-by-step through inspections, assist in evaluating measurement data, and support decision-making. The i34, i35, i64, and i65 models can also be flexibly adapted to different applications using apps from FLIR and third-party providers.

Less effort required for documentation

A key problem in everyday work: A large part of the Time is spent on documentationThis is precisely where the iXX series comes in. Through automated reporting and direct data transfer, Logs created in near real time and shared. This saves time and reduces potential errors. For craft businesses, this means: more focus on the actual work and less bureaucracy.

The new devices also take communication a step further. Users can Send emails, exchange messages, or even start video calls directly via the camera.This allows findings to be directly coordinated with colleagues or clients. The i35 and i65 models also feature integrated LTE connectivity, enabling them to be used independently of Wi-Fi connections. Additionally, security apps ensure the protection of sensitive data within the company infrastructure.

By offering its products through the Conrad Sourcing Platform, Flir is targeting a broad B2B audience.
