Direct interface to Datev in ToolTime

The tradesman software ToolTime has expanded its product to include a direct and officially certified DATEV interface. This is intended to enable automated accounting without any detours.

The new interface was developed in close cooperation with craft businesses and tax advisors and has been officially tested and approved by Datev , according to a ToolTime press release. The connection is based on the "Datev Invoice Data Service 1.0" and ensures encrypted, data protection-compliant transmission of accounting data.

Incoming and outgoing invoices, including all relevant customer data, are transferred directly from ToolTime to "Datev Unternehmen online". "Tax advisors receive the information immediately in the correct format and can process it further without any additional imports or manual adjustments," according to the Berlin-based software company.

Unlike many other solutions on the market that only offer an export function, ToolTime's Datev integration is fully incorporated into the software . The process runs entirely digitally and without any media breaks, making preparatory accounting significantly simpler and more efficient.

According to ToolTime, this saves craft businesses up to eight hours of working time per month, as manual intermediate steps and the sending of documents by email are eliminated. At the same time, the risk of transmission errors decreases, and coordination with the tax advisor is significantly simplified.
