Award ceremonies, start-up pitches and trade fair tours: The supporting program of digitalBAU 2026 (March 24 to 26, 2026) focuses on innovations and future topics of the construction industry.
In addition to presenting the latest digital products and solutions for the construction industry, the digitalBAU (24 to 26 March 2026) an extensive supporting program.
The most important award for innovative companies and projects in the construction and real estate industry is considered to be the German Construction Prize 2026. The new concept opens the stage even more to future-oriented topics such as artificial intelligence, robotics and sustainable, circular construction.
With numerous new award categories, the event showcases the diverse developments and the significant contribution of the industry to the future of our country. A highlight for everyone who wants to actively shape the future of construction!

The renowned Young Talent Award The award is presented in the competition categories of civil engineering, construction process management, architecture, and crafts and technology. It recognizes outstanding digital solutions with a high degree of practical relevance for the construction industry. The award will also be presented in 2026. Special prizes for start-ups and Ed. Züblin AG special prizes have been awarded..

On the second day of the trade fair, startups compete against each other in the Founders Fight Night to advance their businesses. Here, visitors can experience the development of innovative ideas and potential collaborations firsthand.
The expert panel asks tough "Haymaker questions" during the rounds and tries to influence the market. The Founders Fight Night ends with a spectacular finale and presents a new Built Ecosystem Founders Fight Champion.

Together with the Heinze Architecture Publishing digitalBAU offers two expert-led tours of the exhibition grounds daily. These tours are based on key themes of the trade fair and are also tailored to specific target groups.
Each tour is led by experienced experts who bring both technical know-how and practical experience. The tours offer opportunities for questions, networking, and direct exchange with industry experts. The program is rounded out by forward-looking presentations on AI and robotics.
