Nationwide advanced training in the baking trade: BackWeiter has started

The Central Association of the German Baking Trade is launching the BackWeiter project, which aims to strengthen further training in the industry nationwide through the qualification of mentors.

Continuing education mentors create nationwide momentum.

The focus is on the nationwide qualification and introduction of so-called further education mentors (WBM). These should be implemented both in companies and in extracurricular and inter-company structures, for example in ADB network, will be used. The project aims to To sustainably strengthen further training in the baking trade and ensure the future viability of the industry.

A qualified workforce and regular professional development are considered key prerequisites for the competitiveness of businesses. Only in this way can we respond to the changing world of work and preserve the tradition of craftsmanship. Continuing education and training are of paramount importance for ensuring the future viability of skilled trades. The BackWeiter project is aimed particularly at low-skilled workers and is designed to facilitate their access to further training opportunities and to remove personal barriers.
