Managing Director Holger Stein leaves the hairdressing association
The Central Association of the Hairdressing Trade must find a new managing director: Holger Stein will leave the association on June 30, 2026.
Holger Stein, Managing Director of Central Association of the German Hairdressing Trade (ZV), will leave the association on June 30th. The association, based in Cologne, emphasizes that the move is being made "by mutual agreement and was coordinated with the executive board well in advance".
He looks back "with great gratitude on the collaboration within the Central Association," Stein emphasizes. The Central Association's board, headed by master hairdresser Manuela Hartelt-Dören, also acknowledges the collaboration: "Mr. Stein has shaped the work of the Central Association with reliability, high professionalism, and great commitment. We expressly thank him for his work and the impetus he provided for the further development of our association."
Holger Stein has been working for the association since 2004 and has been its managing director since 2023, after the association relieved his predecessor Jörg Müller of his duties.
As the national guild association, the ZV represents the overall interests of the German hairdressing trade. It comprises twelve state guild associations, whose membership base consists of approximately 223 hairdressing guilds. The association emphasizes that it will settle the succession "in due course."
