From April 9th ​​to 11th, 2027, craftspeople, designers, and creative professionals will open their workshops and studios during the European Days of Crafts. Free registration is already possible.

The European Days of Crafts, or ETAK for short, are a long weekend of open workshops and studios and will take place next spring from April 9th ​​to 11th, 2027. All craftspeople, businesses, and designers working in the cultural and creative crafts sector are eligible to participate. The spectrum ranges from architecture and musical instrument making to goldsmithing and silversmithing, woodturning and restoration, as well as textile design and ceramics.

Twenty-four countries across Europe are participating. In Germany, the ETAK (European Association of Crafts and Trades) are represented in ten federal states. Participants decide for themselves whether to offer an open house, a workshop, or an exhibition, and which target group they wish to reach. Museums, theaters, opera houses, universities, public institutions, and many others also offer exhibitions, guided tours, workshops, and other events related to crafts and trades.

Participation is free. Freelance artists, designers, and creative professionals are also welcome to participate. Registration in the trade register is not required. Regional registration deadlines should be obtained from the relevant Chamber of Skilled Crafts.
