For exactly three decades, the Institute for Cereal Processing in Bergholz-Rehbrücke has stood for successful training, dedicated support of young talent and close cooperation with the baking and confectionery trade.

Numerous guests from politics, trade, business, and education came to Bergholz-Rehbrücke to commemorate this special anniversary and look back on three decades of successful educational work. Since its founding in 1996, the IGV has supported young people on their path to becoming bakers and confectioners, as well as to selling baked goods. To mark its anniversary, the training center offered insights into its apprenticeship program. Apprentices and master students presented practical work from the baking and confectionery trades, showcasing the diversity and quality of the training. The demonstrations provided a vivid impression of the young professionals' skills and generated considerable interest among the visitors.

Björn Wiese, owner of Wiese Bakery GbR Eberswalde, and head of the bakers' guild, has his own positive memories of the IGV: "I completed my master craftsman's training there and had only good experiences. We also send our apprentices to the IGV to take their journeyman's exams. The training is very solid and is in the hands of dedicated instructors."
