Mercedes-Benz presents the Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupé with three axial flux motors, 860 kilowatts of power, a range of up to 696 kilometers, and a charging capacity of up to 600 kilowatts. Market launch is summer 2026.
Mercedes-Benz Mercedes-AMG presents the new GT 4-Door Coupé all-electric production model, which sets new standards with its performance and technology. With three axial flux motors, a High-performance battery based on Formula 1 technology and an Charging capacity of up to 600 kilowatts This takes the four-door coupé into a new dimension of electromobility. Market launch is scheduled for summer 2026.
The vehicle achieves a system output of up to 860 kilowatts (1.169 hp) , and a Torque of 2.000 Newton meters (GT 63), This is made possible by three axial-flux electric motors – two on the rear axle and one on the front axle. Power is transmitted via a fully variable all-wheel drive system. The sprint from zero to 100 km/h takes 2,1 seconds, and acceleration to 200 km/h takes 6,4 seconds. The battery uses directly cooled cylindrical cells and operates at a voltage of 800 volts. This results in a high continuous output of 530 kilowatts and a net capacity of 106 kilowatt-hours.
The Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupé reaches a Charging capacity of up to 600 kilowatts, which allows for a range of 460 kilometers (WLTP) to be recharged in ten minutes.. The A typical charging process from ten to 80 percent state of charge takes eleven minutes..
The model offers an advanced chassis with semi-active roll stabilization (AMG Active Ride Control), active rear axle steering and aerodynamics with active Aerokinectics components for maximum downforce and driving stability. The AMGForce S+ mode activates an authentic V8 sound experience.The cockpit features three rotary controls for driving dynamics: Response Control, Agility Control, and Traction Control, allowing for individual adjustment of steering, driving, and traction behavior.

Visually, the new coupé remains true to its sporting heritage with athletic lines, a flat silhouette, and striking power domes. The body sits four centimeters lower than its predecessor. Inside, operation is controlled by a large display layout and individually adjustable ambient lighting. The front seats offer excellent lateral support, while the rear is designed for long-distance comfort. The MBUX infotainment system utilizes artificial intelligence and offers new AMG-exclusive menus for performance data analysis, individual suspension setup, and route recording.
Series production will start in summer 2026 at the Sindelfingen plant. The innovative axial flux motors will be manufactured at the Berlin-Marienfelde plant, where 35 of the approximately 100 manufacturing processes represent industry firsts.
