"Especially in times when many people are making more conscious decisions about how and what they spend their time and money on, caravanning continues to gain in importance. The Caravan Salon will once again provide crucial impetus for the industry in 2026 and offer guidance in a dynamic market environment . Under the motto " The Caravan Salon opens new worlds, " the 65th edition of this leading trade fair will showcase the diversity and innovation of mobile travel today – and the future direction of the industry. In 15 halls, the community can expect a unique selection of motorhomes, caravans, and campervans – complemented by accessories, technical equipment, conversion components, roof tents, and mobile homes.

Furthermore, the Caravan Salon presents new travel destinations as well as campsites and pitches , inspiring visitors to discover the world in their own way. At the same time, the trade fair strengthens its role as an international platform for industry professionals and, with its high-quality conference program in the B2B sector, offers space for exchange, new ideas, and concrete business relationships.

Caravanning is hitting the zeitgeist.

Daniel Onggowinarso, Managing Director of the German Caravanning Industry Association (CIVD) , explains why caravanning is gaining importance for many people: "In times that many perceive as uncertain and fast-paced, the need for balance and conscious breaks from everyday life is noticeably growing. Holidays are much more than just relaxation; they represent freedom, closeness to nature, and the opportunity to shape one's own time. This is precisely what makes caravanning so attractive to more and more people. At the same time, against the backdrop of current crises, the cost aspect is also becoming increasingly important. Caravanning offers a clear advantage over many other forms of vacation here, as both the itinerary and the duration of the trip can be planned flexibly and individually tailored to the budget."

This allows travelers to maintain full control over their vacation costs even in uncertain times and to adjust their plans at any time. The Caravan Salon demonstrates just how much caravanning resonates with the spirit of the times. As the largest and most important trade fair in the industry, it is not only the highlight of the year for the sector but also the place where the full spectrum of mobile travel is on display. Nowhere else is the range of vehicles, accessories, services, and travel inspiration as comprehensive as in Düsseldorf. Year after year, the fair delights visitors of all ages and appeals to experienced caravanning enthusiasts as well as newcomers.

New themed worlds

The Caravan Salon is consistently developing its offering structure, providing even greater orientation for visitors amidst the enormous product range . New and clearly defined themed areas help to identify trends and navigate the offerings more quickly.

A key focus is the new off-road area in Halls 16 and 17, which will showcase all-terrain vehicles and presentations on particularly self-sufficient travel. Also new is the dedicated rooftop tent area in Hall 7a, which addresses the ongoing trend towards flexible and compact travel options and presents a wide range of models and innovations.

Established themed areas such as Equipment & Outdoor (Hall 3), Travel & Nature (Hall 7), and Technology & Components (Halls 13 and 14) remain in their familiar locations and continue to provide a clear structure within the trade fair offerings. Hall 9 remains closed due to ongoing modernization work.

With 270.000 visitors from more than 80 countries and 810 exhibitors from more than 40 countries in 2025, the Caravan Salon Düsseldorf is the world's largest trade fair for mobile travel and the most important meeting place for the caravanning industry.

Preview Day on August 28th
With a limited number of tickets, the Preview Day offers a particularly relaxed atmosphere for everyone who wants to discover the latest innovations in the industry in peace and quiet.

Tickets and prices
The day ticket costs €20 for adults on weekends and €18 on weekdays; concessions (students, Club Carava Salon & boot, ADAC) cost €18 on weekends and €16 on weekdays. For children (6 to 12 years old), the day ticket costs €6 on both weekends and weekdays.
In addition, an afternoon ticket is offered from Monday to Friday for twelve euros (from 14 pm to 6 pm). Preview Day tickets cost 39 euros for adults (35 euros for concessions), and six euros for children aged 18 to 12.
