Federal Prize for Craftsmanship in Monument Preservation launches in North Rhine-Westphalia

The German Confederation of Skilled Crafts (ZDH) and the German Foundation for Monument Protection are once again launching the Federal Prize for Craftsmanship in Monument Preservation. This year, owners of listed buildings and qualified craft businesses from North Rhine-Westphalia are eligible to participate.

WHKT President Berthold Schröder, Employers' Vice President Jochen Renfordt and Employees' Vice President Alexander Hengst were confirmed in their positions.

The General Assembly of the West German Chamber of Crafts (WHKT) has re-elected Berthold Schröder as President, Jochen Renfordt as Employer Vice President and Alexander Hengst as Employee Vice President for another three years.

Following the election, Schröder stated: "In the next three years, I would like to contribute to further strengthening the skilled trades in North Rhine-Westphalia – as a driver of regional value creation, innovation, and sustainability. The political, social, and economic environment is challenging. The Chambers of Skilled Crafts have an important role to play as reliable partners for businesses and employees."
