The "Boiler Room of the Future" campaign enters its second round.
The "Boiler Room of the Future" event series continues. At eight more locations across North Rhine-Westphalia, the action days will provide information on what makes sense when a heating system replacement is due.
The " Boiler Room of the Future " event series resumes after the summer break in September. Action days will be held at eight additional locations in North Rhine-Westphalia, aimed at owners of single-family and two-family homes. The goal of the events is to provide independent, easily understandable information about climate-friendly heating options and current legal regulations. According to the Öko-Zentrum NRW ( North Rhine-Westphalia Eco-Center), the need for independent advice has increased further following the cuts to heating subsidies in July and the implementation of the new Building Modernization Act.
The event days will take place between September 9th and October 16th at the following locations: Dortmund, Aachen, Düsseldorf, Lindlar, Bielefeld, Siegen, Paderborn, and Münster. Participation is free. The program includes lectures, consultations, and technical presentations by experts in heating technology, electrical engineering, chimney sweeping, energy consulting, consumer protection, as well as representatives from municipalities and manufacturers. The first round of event days in early summer saw high demand and many visitors at each location.
Independent advice without sales pressure
The concept envisions independent advice without sales pressure and without committing to specific technologies. Leila Morgenroth from the NRW Eco-Center emphasizes: "The action days offer reliable and easily accessible access to independent advice – without sales pressure and without technological constraints. People decide for themselves which solution is best for their individual home. We provide the platform and thus help ensure that the respective decision is based on clear facts."
Overview of the dates for the eight action days:
- Dortmund: Wednesday, 9 September, from 13 o'clock
- Aachen: Saturday, 19 September, from 11 o'clock
- Düsseldorf: Saturday, 26 September, from 11 o'clock
