Hans Hund remains President of the WHKT

Hans Hund was re-elected as President by the General Assembly of the West German Chamber of Crafts.

Hans Hund is the old and new president of the West German Association of Chambers of Skilled Crafts (WHKT) . The 69-year-old master electrician and refrigeration engineer from Bocholt, who is also the president of the Münster Chamber of Skilled Crafts , was unanimously re-elected by the WHKT general assembly for another term.

Hund has been president of the WHKT since November 2016. Berthold Schröder (president of the Dortmund Chamber of Skilled Crafts ) was unanimously re-elected as employers' vice president, as was Felix Kendziora (vice president of the Aachen Chamber of Skilled Crafts ) as employee vice president.

Chambers of crafts award integration prizes

The seven chambers of skilled crafts in North Rhine-Westphalia, together with the WHKT (Westphalian Chamber of Skilled Crafts), have each awarded one company the Integration Prize. Integration Minister Verena Schäffer says this year's winners are role models that the state needs.

Five years after the devastating floods, the North Rhine-Westphalia Ministry of Construction, the WHKT (Westphalian Chamber of Skilled Crafts), and the Cologne Chamber of Skilled Crafts have concluded the state initiative "Skilled Crafts in Reconstruction." In Odenthal, they reviewed their collaboration.
